Job summary

Randstad CPE is recruiting on behalf of a leading Facilities Management client in Glasgow for a skilled Maintenance Joiner to join their team on a static basis. The role covers general fabric works to keep the facility safe and efficient, with a salary up to £31,000 and a 37.5-hour week.

You will perform maintenance and minor repairs, maintain records, manage tools, and serve as on-call engineer with additional compensation.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in a relevant trade.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in building services or facilities maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and minor fabric repairs, including fire door inspections, smoke/intumescent strip replacements, plasterwork, touch-up painting, and lock repairs.
• Maintain complete and highly accurate records of all completed work and inspections.
• Take responsibility for the daily inspection and routine maintenance of standard and specialised tools.
• Serve as the on-call engineer with additional compensation provided for accrued call-out time.
• Travel and assist at other client sites or company locations as directed by your line manager.
