Job summary

Daniel Owen Ltd in Wythenshawe is seeking a Multi-Skilled Joiner to carry out planned and preventative maintenance on a large site. The role offers long-term security with potential to go permanent and progression opportunities.

You'll work 8am-4:30pm, Monday to Friday, performing general joinery repairs, basic multi-trade tasks, and liaising with on-site customers while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Carpentry & Joinery (or equivalent).
• Proven maintenance experience on large sites.
• Multi-skilled with ability to cover related trades (desirable).

Overview

Multi-Skilled Joiner required for a Facilities Management company to carry out planned and preventative maintenance on a large site in Wythenshawe. Our client is looking for an experienced and hardworking Joiner to join the team. This is a long-term secure contract position with the view to going permanent, with opportunities for progression available.

Schedule

This role will be working 8am - 4:30pm, Monday to Friday (40 hours per week).

Responsibilities

• Planned and preventative maintenance
• General joinery repairs and maintenance (doors, frames, kitchens, fixtures, etc.)
• Basic multi-trade tasks (patch plastering, minor plumbing, etc.)
• Diagnosing and rectifying faults across building fabric
• Carrying out work safely and efficiently
• Building relationships with customers on site

Requirements

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Carpentry & Joinery (or equivalent)
• Proven experience in a maintenance environment
• Multi-skilled background
• Ability to carry out basic works across other trades (desirable)
