Job summary

Randstad CPE is recruiting on behalf of a leading Facilities Management client to hire a Maintenance Joiner for a static site in Glasgow. The role covers maintenance and minor fabric works to keep the facility safe and efficient.

You will perform repairs, keep accurate records, manage tools, and may be on-call with compensation. NVQ Level 3 in a relevant trade and at least two years of building services experience are required; 33 days leave, pension, and overtime opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in a relevant trade.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in building services or facilities maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and minor fabric repairs, including statutory fire door inspections, smoke/intumescent strip replacements, plasterwork, touch-up painting, and lock repairs.
• Maintain complete and highly accurate records of all completed work and inspections.
• Take responsibility for the daily inspection and routine maintenance of standard and specialised tools.
• Serve as the on-call engineer with additional compensation provided for accrued call-out time.
• Travel and assist at other client sites or company locations as directed by your line manager.

Job description

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading Facilities Management client for a skilled Maintenance Joiner to join their team on a static basis in Glasgow The post holder will be directly involved with maintenance and minor works services, covering a wide and varied range of general fabric works to ensure the facility operates safely and efficiently.

Package:

• Competitive salary of up to £31,000 per annum
• Working Hours - 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM)
• 33 days paid annual leave (including bank holidays)

Key Responsibilities
