Job description

Static Maintenance Electrician

Location: Reading

Position Type: Full-Time

Salary Range: GBP39,000 - GBP40,000 per annum

Shift Patterns:

* Three weeks a month: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
* One week a month: Monday to Friday, 11:30 AM to 8:30 PM
* One weekend and a half day off per month

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled Static Maintenance Electrician to join our team at the Oracle Shopping Centre.

Responsibilities:

* Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of electrical systems and equipment at the Oracle Shopping Centre.
* Diagnose and resolve electrical faults and issues in a timely manner.
* Perform repairs and replacements of electrical components as necessary.
* Conduct electrical testing, including PAT testing, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
* Collaborate with the engineering team to carry out planned preventative maintenance tasks.
* Respond promptly to emergency call-outs and provide effective solutions.
* Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs carried out.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
* Liaise with clients and provide excellent customer service at all times.

Requirements:

* Proven experience as an Electrician, preferably in a maintenance role.
* Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installation.
* Solid knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and equipment.
* Familiarity with relevant regulations and safety standards.
* Ability to diagnose electrical faults and perform repairs effectively.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication and customer service skills.
* Flexible approach to work and willingness to work varied shift patterns.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
