Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking an Electrical Engineer (Static) for a Blackburn-based static contract. The role offers a £41,000 salary and a 37-hour week, Monday to Friday, 07:00–15:00, with opportunities for progression and training within a reputable FM provider.

The position involves maintaining electrical building services, fault finding, and participating in the on-call rota, with emphasis on power distribution, lighting, AHU, and BMS systems.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds / NVQ — Electrical Installation or Maintenance.
• 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations.
• Building services knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance as instructed by the Helpdesk, including fault finding, test, repair and preventative maintenance of electrical building services equipment.
• Participate in the emergency call out rota as required.
• Carry out tasks within plant room environments and at height, using platforms and ladders; all access equipment and PPE provided.
• Keep and maintain all company issued tools in a safe and serviceable manner.
