Job summary

Hafod is seeking a Static Care Worker for its Dol-Yr-Hafren and Cwrt Hir Extra Care Schemes in Cardiff. You will support residents at their homes, deliver companionship and wellbeing activities, and help maintain independence with person-centred care.

This fixed-site role emphasizes reliability, empathy and teamwork with health professionals and families. We offer training, supportive teams and opportunities to grow within care.

We’re looking for kind, caring and reliable people to join our team at both our Dol-Yr-Hafren and Cwrt Hir Extra Care Schemes. You’ll support people to live independently, provide wellbeing activities and routines and offer companionship.

This is a 0-hour contract with consistent part-time hours available. Working patterns can be discussed at interview.

Non drivers are welcomed as work is based on a static site, however duties will involve shopping with clients, outreach and domestic tasks and you may have to travel for training.

Some of our homes may have limited public transport links, and some shifts start early or finish late. You’ll therefore need reliable transport to and from work.
