Job summary

Ordnance Survey’s Geovation Incubator is seeking a manager to lead startup selection and tailor launchpad programmes that help founders build sustainable businesses around geospatial products. You’ll collaborate with the Incubator Lead, Ecosystem team and external partners to deliver targeted support and scale Geovation’s impact.

You’ll shape partnerships, engage senior stakeholders, and drive community growth within London’s Geovation Hub, balancing strategic priorities with hands‑on execution

Qualifications

• Experience creating bespoke development programmes based on needs.
• Outstanding interpersonal, relationship building, coaching and mentoring skills.
• Ability to turn complex information into clear priorities, actions and opportunities.
• Experience scouting for leading edge startups.

Responsibilities

• Scout for startups to invite to apply to the programme and manage recruitment and selection, including due diligence and finance.
• Be the main point of contact for startups within the programme and design bespoke support per startup to align with the team’s wider strategy.
• Lead on the design and delivery of non-technical support with the Ecosystem team, leveraging alumni, OS staff and third parties.
• Advocate for the power of location data and the impact startups have on new markets and OS data.
• Identify connections between founder needs, OS capabilities and activity across the Geovation ecosystem.
• Help ensure the Geovation Hub is a vibrant, inclusive space with events, activation and health and safety tasks.
