Job summary

Nestlé Waters & Premium Beverages in Buxton, Derbyshire, is hiring a Standard Operator for our production team. The role includes a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (2 days, 2 nights) and a comprehensive benefits package. Training is provided to help you grow within a fast-moving consumer goods environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing is beneficial, but not required; on-the-job training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Achieve performance targets by operating machines and systems to keep production lines running smoothly.
• Ensure safety and quality standards are followed at all times.
• Coordinate actions with teammates to maintain routines and improve processes.
• Support with KPI-related factory activities and ongoing skills development.

We are currently looking for a Standard Operator to join our fantastic production team at our Buxton site in Derbyshire.

Your ingredients for success

As a Standard Operator your main accountability will be to achieve performance targets by operating machines and systems. In addition to this, you will be ensuring that the process runs at its optimum, producing high quality product and coordinating actions where necessary.

• Safety and Quality Assurance: Ensure high safety and quality standards are adhered to in order to maintain a safe working environment.
• Operational Responsibilities: You will be responsible for the safe & efficient running of production lines. Ensuring routines and standards are maintained and improved.
• Performance and KPI Management: Support with factory activities in order to achieve KPIs.
• Professional Development: To enhance your skill set, you will be working in all areas of the production plant based on your skills development.
