Job summary

North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist for the Stammering Team in Tees Valley. The post is 0.6 whole-time equivalent and may involve flexible working arrangements and a development opportunity.

The successful candidate will be HCPC registered, with a passion for helping children and young people and a commitment to evidence-based practice.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration required.
• Experience with children and young people in the specialist area preferred.
• Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous learning.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver highly specialist SLT to children and young people across Tees Valley.
• Implement group based approaches with other specialist therapists.
• Work in schools, community clinics, homes and via virtual platforms.
• Access internal and external CPD opportunities.
