Job summary

University Hospitals Tees is seeking a Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to join the Stammering Team on a 0.6 whole time equivalent basis. The post focuses on children and young people across the Tees Valley, delivering highly specialist assessment, diagnosis and intervention for complex communication needs.

You will be HCPC registered, work within an enthusiastic team and contribute to evidence-based practice and CPD opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver highly specialist speech and language therapy to the caseload of children and young people across Tees Valley.
• Provide specialist clinical advice and training to staff and agencies.
• Develop and implement care protocols and programmes for complex communication disorders, with stammering as a primary need.
