Job summary

Aureos are seeking a Stakeholder Manager to join our project in Dungeness. The Stakeholder Manager is responsible for building, maintaining, and optimising relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of organisational objectives.

The role acts as the central point of coordination, ensuring communication is clear, expectations are aligned, and risks are managed effectively.

Qualifications

  • Experience in stakeholder management, project delivery, communications, or relationship-focused roles.
  • Background in engineering, utilities, infrastructure, construction (desirable).
  • Strong understanding of project lifecycles, change management, or operational delivery.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage complex stakeholder groups with competing priorities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, collaboration tools, and reporting platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Stakeholder Mapping & Analysis — Identify key stakeholders, assess influence and impact, and develop engagement strategies.
  • Relationship Management — Build strong, trusted relationships across departments, clients, suppliers, regulators, and partners.
  • Communication & Engagement — Deliver clear, consistent communication plans tailored to stakeholder needs.
  • Project Support — Work with project teams to ensure stakeholder requirements are understood and incorporated.
  • Issue & Risk Management — Identify emerging concerns, manage expectations, and escalation risks appropriately.
  • Reporting & Insights — Produce stakeholder updates, dashboards, and engagement reports for senior leadership.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration — Facilitate alignment between operations, commercial, finance, engineering, and external partners.
  • Continuous Improvement — Enhance stakeholder processes, communication channels, and engagement frameworks.
  • Governance & Compliance — Ensure stakeholder activity aligns with regulatory, contractual, and organisational standards.
