Job Description

This role delivers specific functional service support within the Stakeholder & Communications Centre of Excellence.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Executing a range of performance activities on assigned projects under supervision and mentorship.
  • Implementing specialist functional frameworks and strategies on assigned projects.
  • Building effective relationships with stakeholders and clients.
  • Monitoring and executing duties outlined in stakeholder & communications management plans, including reporting and reviews.
  • Developing stakeholder & communications methodologies.
  • Enhancing integration of stakeholder management, communications, and interface disciplines.
  • Aligning service activities with client requirements, legislation, and Mace control center directives.
  • Seeking continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Supporting the delivery of strategic initiatives in the area of discipline.

You’ll need to have:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Team-oriented attitude.
  • Ability to quickly assimilate information.
  • Basic understanding of construction/delivery lifecycle or consultancy.
  • Knowledge of stakeholder & communication service delivery in sectors like rail, highways, nuclear, public sector, hospitals.
  • Effective collaboration skills.
  • Interest in business development and work-winning activities.
  • Experience supporting project controls and PMO services.
  • APM Foundation or equivalent qualification.

Additional preferred experience:

  • Experience working on construction or consultancy projects.
  • Ability to develop and deliver frameworks/strategies.
  • Knowledge of relevant tools and software.
  • Experience creating and delivering professional presentations.
  • Relevant university degree (e.g., construction, engineering) or equivalent.
  • Interest in achieving Chartered status or membership of a professional institution such as the Association of Project Managers.
