Job description

FIND is delighted to support a Nottingham-based, well-established, and leading training organisation in hiring a Learner and Stakeholder Engagement Advisor.

Our client provides a range of employment-related training, including Full-Time Programmes, Apprenticeships, Employability, Adult Learning Loans, and work experience opportunities for adults and young people from diverse backgrounds. These initiatives aim to enhance individuals' employment potential and qualifications.

The role is based in Nottingham with travel across the East Midlands (e.g., job centres, referral partners, and employers), with some scope for occasional home working.

Main purpose
  • Identify potential learners for training programmes through various methods, including engagement with job centres, referral partners, and direct applicants.
  • Carry out screening and provide high-quality IAG to ensure suitability before enrolling learners onto training programmes.
  • Engage with employers to identify recruitment needs and provide a SWAP service.
  • Deliver effective and efficient customer service to external and internal customers, including learners, outside organisations, and staff.
  • Ensure that Equality & Diversity practices are followed throughout daily activities, especially when dealing with learners and handling telephone calls.
Applicants must have
  • Experience in learner and employer engagement
  • Minimum of an IAG Level 2 qualification
  • Good IT skills and sound knowledge of MS Office and Excel
  • A minimum of grade 4 English or Level 2 Functional Skills
  • Driving licence and own transport
Applicants will ideally have
  • Knowledge of the training sector, especially ASF/employability, apprenticeships, and funded programmes.
