A leading organization in Wolverhampton is seeking a Stakeholder Engagement Officer to enhance student work experience opportunities. The role involves building relationships with employers and supporting students in their career readiness. Stakeholder Engagement Officer
Salary - £17,617 - £19,756 (Grade 6)
Hours - 18.5 hours per week
Contract type - part time, permanent post

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to support our students in accessing high-quality work experience.You will be a confident communicator with the ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with colleagues, students, and stakeholders both internally and externally.
You will engage with employers and other stakeholders to seek out new opportunities for business growth, curriculum co-design, and for students to develop their skills and knowledge, which will increase their readiness for work and give them a competitive edge in applying for their first-choice jobs.
You will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with a customer service-focused approach to support both students and employers. You will have excellent organisation and planning skills and the ability to work to deadlines.You will identify and work with teachers to prepare students for their work placements and job opportunities, such as employer expectations, targets, and joining instructions. You will also work closely with the student and the employer to gain feedback on their experience.
You will be required to attend Service open days, networking events, employability fairs, and marketing events on a regular basis.
The successful candidate will be highly capable in a range of IT software with a keen eye for detail, as the role requires close recording and monitoring of all activities.
Experience of working with adults or within the Further Education sector, or in a customer service or sales environment, is essential.
This post will involve travel.

Our working arrangements
All council roles are allocated to either a fixed, field or flexible work style.Some roles are agile which enable and empower employees to maximise their performance and productivity, whilst maintaining a healthy work life balance. Roles with a fixed workstyle work in a fixed permanent council location. Roles with a field workstyle are usually allocated where employees are required to be out working in the community with a minimum requirement for 'touch down' space at any council location. Roles with a flexible workstyle have a flexible base location to meet the needs of the business and employees can work from a mixture of home or any council office, partner/client, or external location, as required to meet service requirements.
