Job summary

Poverty Alliance in Scotland is recruiting an Engagement and Learning Officer for the Pathways to Progress project. The role focuses on building stakeholder relationships, shaping workshop design, and promoting project findings to improve job standards in social care.

The post requires strong facilitation and communication skills, collaboration with researchers and external partners, and a commitment to social justice within a funded three-year program.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable track record of working in partnership and developing relationships with a range of stakeholders.
• Experience of influencing, supporting or managing change at organisational level.
• The ability to understand and synthesize complex details and articulate them for different audiences.
• Experience of developing and delivering effective communications, promotion and marketing approaches.
• Knowledge of the fair work policy landscape and social care sector in Scotland.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a programme of stakeholder engagement as part of the Pathways to Progress project.
• Contribute to the design and delivery of workshops and engagement activities for two large social care employers.
• Coordinate the dissemination of evidence, learning and evaluation from the project to appropriate audiences.
• Oversee engagement with a broad range of stakeholders relevant to the Social Care sector and the project aims.
• Contribute to development of key messages and marketing materials to support dissemination activities.
