Job summary

NHS National Services Scotland is seeking a Public Health Programme Lead to drive a Fife-wide programme focused on reducing poverty and improving population health. The role collaborates across NHS Fife, the Fife Health and Social Care Partnership, Fife Council, and partners to shape priorities and translate evidence into action.

You will provide strategic public health leadership, oversee programme development and evaluation, and use data to monitor outcomes while building strong cross-sector

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Public Health, Health Promotion or related field.
• Strong understanding of health inequalities, poverty and prevention.
• Experience in policy development and implementation, partnership working.
• Excellent analytical, communication, facilitation and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes to improve population health.
• Provide specialist public health advice and strategic leadership.
• Foster multi-agency partnerships across NHS Fife, Local authorities and third sector.
• Use evidence and data to identify priorities and monitor outcomes.
