Job summary

From CAD drawings you will MIG/TIG weld, cut, fold, polish, assemble mechanical handling equipment, inspect finished work, complete FAT records, and maintain a clean, safe working

Qualifications

• Plan and prepare stainless-steel fabrication work in accordance with industry standards and site requirements.
• Work to manufacturing technical/CAD drawings to produce high-quality fabrications to the required standard, referencing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), process and material specifications, Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
• Use all equipment associated with metal fabrication competently and safely.
• Conduct welding and fabrications using MIG and TIG processes.
• Complete preparation work including cutting, folding, polishing, and finishing.
• Fit and assemble mechanical handling equipment.
• Inspect and test completed work.
• Complete documentation, including Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) records.
• Perform associated labouring duties as required.
• Drive site vehicles, including loading and unloading (as required).
• Drive company vans (as required).
• Prepare items for shipment, including packing and staging.
• Maintain good housekeeping standards to ensure a clean, safe, and efficient working environment.
• Undertake any other reasonable duties as required by the business.
