Job summary

Contek Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking a skilled Stainless Steel TIG Welder and Fabricator to join a busy engineering manufacturer producing commercial kitchen equipment, including bespoke units and extraction canopies for national chains.

You will weld light to medium gauge stainless steel, fabricate units from drawings, cut, fold, form, and finish to meet hygiene standards; experience with catering equipment is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on TIG welding stainless steel.
• Solid background as a skilled sheet metal fabricator.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings independently and with high accuracy.

Responsibilities

• TIG welding light to medium gauge stainless steel components to a high standard.
• Fabricating stainless steel commercial kitchen units, work tables, and extraction canopies from drawings.
• Cutting, folding, forming, and finishing stainless steel sheet metal.
• Polishing and finishing welds to meet hygiene standards for commercial food environments.
