Job summary

Nimax Theatres is seeking a Show Crew Electrics to support lighting for performances across London’s West End venues. You will assist the Head of Electrics and Deputy with lighting services, uphold safety standards, and manage LX tracks, follow spots, or lighting desks as required.

The role requires flexibility, calmness under pressure, and strong communication skills, with duties including get-ins/outs, rehearsals, and show maintenance.

• Experience operating a follow spot.
• Experience operating a lighting desk.
• Working at height trained.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head of Electrics in providing electrical and stage lighting services for performances.
• Maintain the highest technical standards for the production.
• Take ownership of an LX track and operate LX, follow spot, or lighting desk as required.
• Familiarise with cues and cover them when needed.
• Support during resets, rehearsals and show maintenance.
• During get-ins/outs transport equipment, set and lights around the building.
• Complete training and carry out other duties as requested by the Heads.
