Job summary

Neg Earth Lights is looking for an experienced electrical/electronic technician to join our Park Royal operations. You will maintain and service lighting equipment, dimmers, controls and power distribution to ensure client readiness within agreed timescales.

The role requires soldering and wiring expertise, 3-phase power knowledge and a proactive, team-oriented approach. Flexibility for overtime, including weekends, is essential to keep projects flowing.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Electrical/Electronic qualification or BTEC Electrical qualification.
• Practical experience in an electrical/electronic role.
• Soldering and wiring experience.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools and test equipment.
• Knowledge of 3-phase power and distribution.
• Electrical safety knowledge and awareness.
• Knowledge of Motor Control Systems.
• Ability to work autonomously whilst being a real team player.
• Willingness to take ownership and accountability.
• Ability to plan ahead, organise, prioritise workload.
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, with resilience and flexibility.
• Can-do positive attitude.
• Great communication skills.
• Willingness to work 7-day operation including weekends when required.
• Basic computer skills.
• MS Office: Outlook, Excel, Word.

Responsibilities

• Repair and service electrical equipment and systems.
• Maintain and test dimmers, distros, controls, transformers and lighting gear.
• Assemble cables and distribute mains safely.
• Keep stock managed and returned per process.
• Assist with power distribution and motor control as needed.
• Maintain lighting equipment and prepare for client use.
• Support team with cross-functional tasks and learn new systems.
