Job summary

The Trade Desk is seeking a Staff UX Visual Designer to elevate the visual and interaction design quality of its global platform. This senior individual-contributor role focuses on exceptional craft and systems thinking, partnering with Product, Engineering, and UX Leadership to raise the design bar.

You will own high-fidelity execution across key areas, shaping how advertisers and agency partners experience the platform with clarity, consistency, and polish.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, Cognitive Science, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in product/UX design with strong craft.
• Proven track record shaping end-to-end design in complex platforms.
• Exceptional visual design skills across typography, layout and color.

Responsibilities

• Set the visual and interaction design bar for the platform across complex workflows.
• Lead hands-on, high-fidelity design for flagship features from concept to launch.
• Design dashboards, data visualization, and AI-assisted features where relevant.
• Drive user research and usability testing to inform iteration.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to ensure evolving design vision and feasibility.
