This role emphasizes deep technical ownership, concurrency, distributed systems, and collaboration with researchers and infrastructure engineers to deliver production-ready, reliable software at scale.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong professional software engineering experience with ownership.
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Rust, Elixir, Python, Java or similar).
• Experience designing concurrent, parallel or distributed systems.
• Experience with a major cloud platform (AWS, Google Cloud or Azure).
• Interest in software architecture and solving hard problems.
• Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants.

Responsibilities

• Bridge research and production by working with researchers, infra engineers and application specialists.
• Designing and building core components of the software platform.
• Developing backend services, APIs and supporting infrastructure.
• Contributing to algorithms and production-ready AI capabilities.
• Translating research concepts into maintainable software.
• Designing systems to handle large-scale reasoning and inference workloads.
• Working with concurrent, parallel and distributed systems.
• Making architectural decisions around performance, reliability and scalability.
• Writing well-tested, maintainable code and contributing to engineering standards.
• Participating in code reviews and design discussions.
• Shaping how AI-assisted development tools are used across the organization.
