Job summary
La Fosse is recruiting a Staff Software Engineer for a remote-first role with occasional Reading office presence. You will own the high-volume billing platform, set technical direction, and drive architectural decisions while mentoring engineers as the platform modernises to scalable TypeScript-based services.
You will work with stakeholders across the business, delivering robust REST APIs and leveraging PostgreSQL in a globally distributed environment.

La Fosse are partnering with a global leader in IoT connectivity, who are in the market for an exceptional Staff Software Engineerto join their existing team.
This is a unique opportunity to join a team responsible for one of the most critical areas of the business, owning the high-volume billing platform that processes large-scale usage data and generates accurate invoices for customers worldwide.
You’ll be responsible for setting technical direction, driving architectural decisions, mentoring engineers and leading the modernisation of a mature platform into scalable TypeScript-based services.

This role is offering a salary up-to £95,000 + extended benefits package.
