Job summary

Client Server is seeking an experienced full-stack engineer to design and build a modern cloud-native platform. You will own backend services, APIs, and cloud infrastructure while contributing to frontend work.

Based in Bristol with home working most of the time and occasional office collaboration, the role offers strong progression as the product scales and leverages AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery.

Qualifications

• Strong full stack development experience with Node.js, TypeScript and React.
• Experience designing scalable APIs and cloud-native applications.
• Experience setting up serverless architectures with Azure or AWS.
• Experience integrating enterprise systems and building event-driven solutions.
• Experience Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor or Claude.
• Enjoy collaborative, start-up style environments with high ownership.

Responsibilities

Salary: £40,000 - 70,000 per year

• We enjoy working in collaborative, start-up style environments with high levels of ownership

This is a high-impact role within a small, experienced engineering team where we work directly with the CTO and have the opportunity to influence technical decisions from day one. The role is based in Bristol with home working most of the time, plus office collaboration once or twice a week.
