Ocho in Belfast is seeking a Staff .NET Engineer to operate at the top of the engineering organisation, setting direction and delivering at scale. The role sits hybrid, with the opportunity to influence architecture and people leadership across fintech platforms.

You will own backend initiatives end to end, guide multiple teams, mentor senior engineers, and collaborate with product and infrastructure to deliver cohesive solutions.

Formación

• Extensive commercial experience as a Senior .NET Engineer, at staff or principal level.
• Deep expertise in C# and the .NET ecosystem.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and scalable architecture.
• Experience working in complex, multi-team fintech environments.

Staff .NET Engineer Belfast (Hybrid) - Up to £75,000

Our client is a global financial technology business with a significant engineering presence in Belfast. They're looking for a Staff .NET Engineer to operate at the top of their engineering organisation - someone who can lead technically, set direction and deliver at scale.

This is a high-influence role sitting across architecture, delivery and people. You'll be shaping how the team builds, not just contributing to it.

What you'll be doing

• Leading .NET architecture and engineering standards across a large-scale financial technology platform


• Driving delivery of complex, high-impact backend features from design through to production


• Setting technical direction and owning decisions that affect multiple teams and products


• Collaborating with engineering leadership, product and infrastructure to deliver cohesive solutions


• Mentoring and elevating senior engineers around you


• Contributing to long-term technical strategy at a leadership level

What they're looking for
