Job summary

Our client, a global technology company, is seeking a Staff RF IC Design Engineer to join their Cambridge HQ on a 100% onsite basis. The role focuses on specifying, architecting, and delivering complete sub-systems for 6G RF ICs, with emphasis on high-performance CMOS transceivers and first silicon results.

You will collaborate with RF system and application engineers, supervise layout for complex RF SoCs, and apply advanced CMOS technologies (16nm or below).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's/PhD in a closely related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience.
• Proven track record of delivering high performance CMOS RF transceivers to mass production.
• Strong knowledge of RF system analysis.
• Experience designing in advanced CMOS technologies (16nm or below).
• Strong analytical skills and grasp of integration challenges of complex RF SoCs.
• Expertise in RF IC layout optimisation in advanced CMOS technologies.
• Innovative, hands-on approach to technical problem solving.
• Strong teamwork, ability to work independently.
• Effective communication across time zones and cultures.
• Strong time management and organisational skills.
