Job summary

IC Resources seeks a Senior RF IC Design Engineer in Cambridge to lead the specification, design, and verification of RF circuit blocks for 5G transceivers. You will work on advanced CMOS processes and contribute to high-performance RF ICs, with visa sponsorship and relocation if needed.

The role focuses on analog/RF circuit design, layout optimisation, and delivering robust solutions in a cutting-edge technology environment within the UK Cambridge high-tech hub.

Qualifications

• BSc/MSc in Electronics or equivalent.
• Proven industrial experience with RF circuits in advanced CMOS (16nm or below).
• Strong analytical skills with a track record of delivery.
• Excellent understanding of transceiver architectures and RF layout optimisation.

Responsibilities

• Specification, design, implementation and verification of RF circuit blocks for 5G RF ICs (filters, LNA, PA, mixers).
• Delivery of high-performance RF circuits on first silicon.

We are recruiting for a Senior RF IC Design Engineer to join our client in Cambridge – one world’s Semiconductor leaders. UK visa sponsorship and relocation package is also available.

Based in UK’s high-tech hub of Cambridge, our global client operates a strategically important RF IC Design centre, working on RF transceivers in advanced process nodes. With the focus on state-of-the‑art wireless technology, currently 5G, shifting to 6G, they have a great team with superb management – reflected by the fact that so many people join the team and stay for many years.

Here the Senior RF IC Design Engineer will focus on the specification, design, implementation and verification of challenging Analog and RF circuit blocks and sub systems for 5G RF ICs such as filters, low noise amplifiers, power amplifiers or mixers, to deliver excellent performance on first silicon.

Suitable Candidates Will Have

• A BSc / MSc degree within Electronics Engineering or similar field
• Proven industrial experience with strong experience in designing RF circuits in advanced CMOS technologies (16nm or below)
• A strong analytical approach is required with a clear track record of success and delivery
• An excellent understanding of modern transceiver architectures and a good working knowledge of RF IC layout optimisation
