Fonoa is seeking a Staff Product Designer to shape the future of our AI-native Tax Operating System. You will craft AI-powered products, simplify complex tax workflows, and contribute to a brand-new design system. Join a senior IC team reporting to the Head of Design, with emphasis on systems thinking, craft, and execution.

You will design scalable foundations, collaborate with Product, Eng, AI, and User Research, and raise the quality bar across all product experiences.

Qualifications

• Strong portfolio with end-to-end ownership across product design.
• Experience building scalable design systems for multi-product platforms.
• Experience in B2B, fintech, or developer/infrastructure products.

Responsibilities

• Shape AI-native products and experiences for the Tax Operating System.
• Lead end-to-end design from framing to launch, ensuring craft and usability.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, AI, Tax, and User Research to guide product direction.
