Job summary

Fonoa is seeking a Staff Product Designer to shape the future of our AI-native Tax Operating System. You will craft AI-powered products, simplify complex tax workflows, and contribute to a brand-new design system. Join a senior IC team reporting to the Head of Design, with emphasis on systems thinking, craft, and execution.

You will design scalable foundations, collaborate with Product, Eng, AI, and User Research, and raise the quality bar across all product experiences.

Role Description

We're looking for a Staff Product Designer to help shape the future of Fonoa's AI-native Tax Operating System. You'll design new AI-powered products and experiences, simplify complex tax workflows, and help define the future of our platform.

You’ll join an independent Design organization, working alongside a high-caliber team of designers, product managers, engineers, and tax managers. As one of our senior individual contributors, you'll have the opportunity to shape our products, influence a brand new design system from the ground up, and raise the quality bar across everything we build.

This is a hands-on Staff IC role reporting to the Head of Design, with a strong focus on systems thinking, craft, and execution.
