Nuffield Health The Holly Hospital in Buckhurst Hill is seeking a Bank Ward Staff Nurse to support our elective post-surgical ward. You will be registered with the NMC and bring substantial post-registration hospital ward experience.

You’ll work across a range of shifts, including long days, nights, twilight and weekends, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Registered with the NMC and current practising status.
• Significant post-registration experience in a hospital ward setting.
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care on a surgical ward with emphasis on safety and quality.
• Collaborate with clinicians across departments to ensure continuity of care.

As a Bank Staff Nurse on our elective post surgical ward at The Holly Hospital, you’ll drive the standard in patient care. You will be registered with the NMC with significant post registration experience in a hospital ward setting.

As a Bank Ward Staff Nurse, you will:

• Be flexible, motivated, an excellent communicator and team worker
• Fully understand and pay close attention to each patient’s needs
• Work directly with some of the best clinical talent around
• Gain valuable experience of new practices, equipment and facilities
• Collaborate with practitioners across other departments to ensure continuity in patient care

You will have:

• Previous experience working within a surgical ward setting.
• Excellent clinical assessment and decision‑making skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Flexible approach to working shifts, including days, nights, weekends as required.
