Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is hiring a Staff Nurse for Specialist Mental Health Bed Based roles in Wirral. Band 5, full-time 37.5 hours per week with part-time options available. Wards include Springview, Wirral on Brackendale, Brooklands, Riverwood, Lakefield and Meadowbank.

The role involves 12.5 hour shifts across days, nights and weekends. The post requires RMN/RNLD registration, a commitment to patient-centred care, and participation in the Trust’s training and

Qualifications

• Excellent communicator verbally and in writing.
• Well developed research-based knowledge and practical nursing skills.
• Understanding of basic management principles; may take charge of service occasionally.
• Ability to work unsupervised.
• Positive approach to information technology.

Responsabilités

• Provide care in bed-based mental health wards within Wirral sites.
• Be part of a multidisciplinary team focused on recovery and safety.
• Participate in training, supervision and development programs.
• Work a rotational pattern including days, nights and weekends.
