Job summary

Nuffield Health Haywards Heath Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse for Pre-Assessment on a bank/ ad hoc basis. The role is part-time with weekday and weekend work available, offering an hourly rate up to £25 depending on experience.

You will be part of a supportive team delivering high standards of care in a consultant-led service, ensuring each patient and their family receive comfort, reassurance and expert pre-assessment care.

Qualifications

• Must be a nurse or practitioner registered with the appropriate governing body (NMC).
• Post-registration experience is desirable.
• Strong patient-care focus and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Join a close-knit team delivering matron-led care in a consultant-led service.
• Conduct pre-assessments and support patient needs with reassurance.
• Collaborate with practitioners to ensure continuity of care across services.
• Provide high-quality care and help patients and families feel comfortable.
• Develop experience across new practices, equipment and facilities.
• Contribute to maintaining safety and quality in a busy hospital setting.
