Job summary

Holmes Care Group Staff Nurse role within our care home in Scotland. You will lead the team, assess and plan for residents’ needs and wishes, and provide excellent nursing care and support.

You will oversee medicine management, ensure safe medication administration in line with NMC Standards, and contribute to treatment plans while maintaining a safe, caring environment and ensuring regulatory compliance. A compassionate and caring attitude, with current NMC registration and nursing

Qualifications

• Current registration with the NMC is required.
• A nursing qualification is essential.
• Compassionate and caring attitude with understanding of nursing role.

Responsibilities

• Providing excellent nursing care and support to residents.
• Overseeing medicine management and safe administration of medications per NMC Standards.
• Creating and carrying out treatment plans.
• Providing a safe, caring and stable environment for residents.
• Ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory and best practice guidelines.
• Supporting the Service Manager to meet targets by upholding high nursing standards and smooth supervision of staff.
• Mentoring and guiding other team members.
• Working with the Manager to ensure the smooth running of the home.
