NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is seeking a Band 5 Registered Nurse for the Dermatology Outpatients Department. The salary is pro rata for part-time hours.
An opportunity has arisen for a band 5 registered nurse to join the city-wide Dermatology Outpatients Department. The successful candidate will work across busy Dermatology units at our South sites, including Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Gartnavel Hospital, and New Victoria ACH.
Responsibilities include assisting at outpatient clinics (including venepuncture), covering phototherapy, patch testing, topical treatments, assisting with surgical sessions, PDT sessions, and attending ward areas to apply treatments for inpatients.
You will collaborate with the nursing and multi-professional team to ensure high standards of person-centred care across a variety of clinics led by consultants and nurses. You should be a suitably qualified nurse with a desire to develop or further develop your specialty skills in dermatology. Previous dermatology experience is desirable but not essential; motivation to work in this specialty is essential. Full training and development will be provided.
