Job description

We are seeking an enthusiastic Band 5 nurse to join our friendly and dedicated team in the Royal Marsden Chelsea Endoscopy unit. Our facility includes one endoscopy procedure suite with five recovery bays and an endoscopy decontamination unit. The decontamination service operates cross-site with two Wassenburg machines. We perform endoscopic surveillance and therapeutic interventions, serving South West London and regional referrals, including both NHS and private patients. We are expanding our services and invite experienced and motivated endoscopy practitioners to join our diverse team. This role offers clinical experience in endoscopy and pre-assessment, allowing you to develop skills in caring for patients undergoing endoscopic procedures, including working with complex cases. Key Responsibilities:

1. To work as a member of the endoscopy team.
2. To be responsible for patient care from pre-assessment to discharge.
3. To deliver high standards of individualized patient care and develop competence in managing patients undergoing endoscopic procedures, including the use of endoscopy equipment and accessories.
