Job Description for Staff Nurse at Gateway Recovery Centre

Responsibilities

Working on an Elderly Ward, you will ensure high-quality care for individuals with mental health conditions, support your colleagues, and foster positive teamwork. Your daily tasks will include:

• Providing compassionate nursing care
• Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care
• Mentoring and supporting team members
• Monitoring and recording service user changes

Workplace Details

Location: Gateway Recovery Centre, a state-of-the-art facility providing care for men and women with complex mental health needs. The hospital has four distinct areas:

• Male Autism Service
• Assessment and rehabilitation for women
• Specialist inpatient service for older men
• Low secure care setting for men with mental illness

Our goal is to improve mental health and wellbeing, helping service users develop healthy relationships and live fulfilling lives within the community.

Work Pattern

8am - 4pm, five days a week (excluding Mondays)
