Job summary

The Lister Hospital in Chelsea, London is seeking a Staff Nurse to join the Medical & Surgical Ward. This full-time role (37.5 hours/week) involves a rotation of long days, nights and weekends in a private hospital environment.

You will provide patient-centred care within a multidisciplinary team, ensuring clinical excellence throughout the patient journey. We are looking for a dedicated nurse with NMC registration and experience in a surgical ward, who communicates effectively and works

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care to medical and surgical patients.

• Maintain accurate patient records and collaborate with the MDT.

As a Staff Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centred care to a diverse caseload of medical and surgical patients. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, delivering and evaluating care while ensuring patients receive the highest standards of clinical excellence throughout their hospital journey.

What you’ll do:

• Deliver safe, effective and evidence-based nursing care to medical and surgical patients.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualised patient care programmes.
• Monitor patient progress and escalapte concerns appropriately.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with hospital policies and NMC standards.
• Maintain accurate and contemporaneous patient records.
• Collaborate effectively with consultants, allied health professionals and the wider multidisciplinary team.
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
• Ensure compliance with infection prevention, safeguarding and clinical governance standards.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and service development activities.
• Act as a patient advocate, ensuring care is delivered with dignity, respect and compassion.

What You'll Bring

• Registered Nurse with a valid NMC registration.
