Priory Hospital Solihull has an opportunity for a Registered Mental Health Nurse with an active NMC Registration to join our team on our Rehabilitation and Recovery ward. Working a mixture of Days/nights/weekdays and bank holidays.
Priory Hospital Solihull, Meriden, Warwickshire is a 31-bedded level 2 rehabilitation service for males supporting the NHS. It is accessible by public transport, with local bus services and nearby train stations providing links into Coventry and Birmingham. The hospital is also well connected by road, with the M6 and M42 approximately 10 minutes away and wider access to the M40 and M1 motorways.

Responsible for delivering safe, person-centred nursing care to a defined group of patients, working collaboratively with patients, families, carers and the multidisciplinary team. Duties include assessing, planning, delivering and reviewing care, monitoring patients’ conditions and responding appropriately to changes in their needs, while maintaining accurate care plans and promoting patient choice. The role involves prioritising and delegating nursing duties, acting as nurse in charge when required, managing medicines safely, addressing concerns and complaints, and maintaining a safe and supportive environment. It also includes supporting newly qualified staff through preceptorship, participating in clinical supervision, reflective practice, meetings and ongoing professional development, while adhering to safeguarding requirements, the Mental Capacity Act, Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards, NMC Code, and organisational policies and procedures.
