Job summary

Annapurna is seeking a Staff Full Stack Engineer to join a high-growth technology business embedding AI at its core. This hands-on leadership role shapes architecture, mentors teams, and drives delivery at scale across frontend, backend, and integrations.

You will build AI-powered features, work with Product, Design, and Data teams, and champion quality, security, and observability while exploring cutting-edge AI tooling and orchestration patterns.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in senior/lead/principal/staff roles.
• Deep expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript ecosystems.
• Strong commercial experience with Node.js and React.
• Proven track record delivering distributed, scalable systems.
• Experience building AI-enabled products for production.
• Understanding of agentic development patterns and AI orchestration.
• Experience with modern AI tooling, frameworks, and APIs.
• Strong database and API design skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Comfortable working across architecture, strategy, and hands-on development.

Responsibilities

• Leading the design and development of scalable, production-grade applications.
• Driving architecture decisions across frontend, backend, integrations, and infrastructure.
• Building and enhancing products using modern JavaScript technologies.
• Developing AI-powered features, intelligent workflows, and agentic applications.
• Working closely with Product, Design, and Data teams to turn ideas into impactful customer experiences.
• Mentoring engineers and raising engineering standards across the organisation.
• Championing software quality, performance, security, and observability.
• Evaluating emerging AI technologies and identifying opportunities to accelerate delivery and improve products.
• Contributing to technical strategy and roadmap planning.
