Job summary

Runna is seeking a Staff Software Engineer (Full Stack) to drive the technical success of the platform across multiple squads. You will provide architectural direction, mentor engineers, and champion scalable, secure solutions while leading end-to-end delivery of major initiatives.

You will shape the technology strategy, collaborate with Product and Design, and own release processes to enable reliable, autonomous shipping.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with a focus on technical leadership and driving projects end-to-end.
• Experience mentoring engineers and guiding complex projects from design to release.
• Familiarity shipping LLM-backed features to production, including prompt and context design for user-facing products.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design and technical strategy across multiple product teams to ensure scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.
• Drive end-to-end delivery of key initiatives, hands-on across full stack (mobile, backend, integrations).
• Coach and support engineers with technical guidance, mentorship, and code reviews to grow the team.
• Own the release process and enable reliable, continuous deployment across squads.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering Leads to balance speed, quality, and long-term goals.
• Grow a high-performing engineering culture based on ownership and knowledge-sharing.
