Job summary

Fin is seeking a Staff Engineer to shape the technical direction of our web platform and systems. You will lead across marketing, analytics, design, data science, and engineering to ensure a scalable, measurable, and delightful stack.

You’ll own long-term strategy, mentor engineers, and contribute hands-on to accelerate key initiatives while supervising reliability and performance in a high-scale environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• Track record of technical leadership across teams.
• Deep expertise in Next.js and React ecosystem.
• Experience with headless CMS platforms such as Contentful or Sanity.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) and cloud platforms (AWS, CloudFront, S3).
• Familiarity with experimentation infrastructure (A/B testing, attribution).
• Strong understanding of web analytics and data instrumentation.
• Comfortable with full-stack codebases and collaboration with product/marketing.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the architecture of Fin's web platform.
• Define long-term technical strategy for the web team.
• Collaborate with marketing, analytics, design, data science, and engineering.
• Lead design and implementation of MarTech systems for tracking and attribution.
• Mentor engineers and set standards for reliability and code quality.
• Contribute hands-on to the codebase and unblock key projects.
