Job summary

Fin is the AI Customer Agent company driving perfect customer experiences for businesses. As Staff Engineer, you will shape the technical direction of Fin's web platform, leading cross-functional collaboration with marketing, analytics, design, data science and engineering to ensure a modern, performant, and measurable stack.

You will mentor engineers, define long-term strategy, and contribute hands-on code while partnering with product managers and executives to deliver scalable web experiences

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• Track record of technical leadership across multiple teams.
• Strong frontend architecture awareness and collaboration across functions.
• Deep expertise in Next.js and React ecosystem.
• Experience with headless CMS platforms and IaC (Terraform).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, CloudFront, S3) and deployment (Vercel).
• Experience operating experimentation infrastructure (A/B testing, attribution).
• Knowledge of web analytics and data instrumentation (event tracking, GTM).
• Comfort working in full-stack codebases and with CD environments.
• Excellent communication and mentorship abilities.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the architecture of Fin's web platform.
• Define long-term technical strategy for the web team.
• Collaborate with marketing, design, analytics, and data science to support goals.
• Lead and influence MarTech systems for event tracking and experimentation.
• Mentor engineers and raise engineering excellence across the org.
• Set standards for reliability, maintainability, and operational readiness.
• Provide guidance to product managers and executives on risks and opportunities.
• Contribute hands-on to the codebase and unblock key projects.
