Fin is the AI Customer Agent company delivering perfect customer experiences. As Staff Engineer, you will shape the technical direction of our web platform and lead across marketing, analytics and engineering teams to ensure a modern, scalable stack.

You will own long-term strategy, drive reliable delivery, mentor engineers, and contribute hands-on to critical projects in a hybrid, high-growth environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years in software engineering.
• Experience in a high-scale growth web environment.
• Proven leadership across teams or departments.
• Deep expertise in Next.js and React ecosystem.
• Experience with headless CMS platforms like Contentful or Sanity; content modeling, migration, multi-site architecture.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform), cloud platforms (AWS, CloudFront, S3) and deployment platforms (Vercel).
• Experience designing or operating experimentation infrastructure—A/B testing, event instrumentation, attribution (eppo).
• Strong understanding of web analytics and data instrumentation (GA, GTM).
• Comfortable with full-stack coding and frontend architecture awareness.
• Experience with CD/CI and high-quality shipping.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the architecture of Fin's web platform.
• Define the long-term technical strategy for the web team focusing on scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Collaborate with marketing, design, analytics, and data science to align platform goals.
• Lead and influence MarTech systems for event tracking, attribution, and reporting.
• Partner with engineers across web, infra, and data to create a cohesive tech ecosystem.
• Mentor engineers and raise engineering excellence across the team.
• Set standards for reliability, maintainability and code quality.
• Provide technical leadership to managers, PMs and executives, communicating risks and opportunities.
• Contribute hands-on to the codebase and unblock key projects.
