Wolt is seeking a Staff Engineer to lead the infrastructure platform that powers compute, cloud, and networking at a global scale. You’ll own the direction for Kubernetes clusters and AWS infra, especially for GPU workloads, and drive design-to-ops across multiple brands.

You will mentor engineers and help reduce toil while enabling product teams to ship faster. In this role you’ll balance reliability with developer experience, build reusable tools with Terraform, and guide complex multi-team

Qualifications

• Deep experience building and operating Kubernetes and AWS infrastructure in production.
• Familiarity with GPU workloads and orchestration is a plus.
• Strong software engineering skills in Go, Python or similar language.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform) and systems design.
• Track record leading complex technical work across teams and domains.

Responsabilités

• Set technical direction for AWS and Kubernetes infra balancing reliability, security, developer experience, and cost.
• Lead initiatives from design through rollout and operation across Wolt, Deliveroo and DoorDash focusing on GPUs.
• Evolve Kubernetes clusters, cloud networking, identity and infrastructure provisioning.
• Build reusable Terraform patterns and self-service tooling for safe provisioning.
• Improve deployment and operational practices including GitOps, observability and incident response.
• Use production signals to identify platform friction and measure impact of changes.
• Mentor engineers through design reviews, implementation and incidents.
• Sunset legacy infrastructure and reduce toil.
