Wolt is seeking a Staff Engineer to lead EU infrastructure, focusing on Kubernetes and AWS at global scale. You will direct major initiatives, shape platform direction, and mentor peers while ensuring secure, scalable, and cost-effective compute resources for AI/ML workloads.

You will own interoperability across teams, build reusable tooling, and drive GitOps and observability improvements. A track record in distributed systems and leadership is essential.

Competenze

• Deep experience building and operating Kubernetes and AWS infrastructure in production.
• Familiarity with GPU workloads and orchestration is a plus.
• Strong software engineering skills using Go or Python to build maintainable tools.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform) and designing systems depended on by other teams.

• Own some of the hardest infrastructure problems and make the platform easier to operate.
• Set technical direction for shared cloud infrastructure across teams.
• Lead substantial initiatives from design through rollout and operation.
