Qualifications

• Experience as Senior/Lead/Staff Engineer in a cloud-native environment.
• Strong background in building microservices and distributed systems.
• Proven leadership and mentoring of engineering teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive Technical Delivery: oversee design, integration, and architecture of the Embedded Accountancy product ecosystem.
• System Integration: collaborate with external financial service APIs (Sage) for ledger and bookkeeping tooling.
• Engineering Leadership: mentor squads and set standards for code quality and architecture.
• Cross-Functional Communication: translate technical goals to executives, product managers, and engineers.
• Foster Best Practices: establish documentation standards, profiling, and observability.
