Job summary

DigiTech Resourcing partnered with a growing healthcare technology business in London seeking a Staff Product Engineer to shape and develop the product. You'll own key areas, work with Product and DevOps teams, and apply strong engineering practices in real-world healthcare environments.

This role is backend-leaning but requires full-stack capability, with responsibility for scalability, performance, testing, and secure development as the platform evolves.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of full-stack software development experience (backend-leaning).
• Strong PHP experience.
• Extensive Symfony & Doctrine experience.
• Experience building complex enterprise applications.
• Solid understanding of DDD & CQRS.
• Experience tackling scalability and performance challenges.
• Strong emphasis on automated testing and secure development.
• Collaborative engineer who takes ownership.

They’re now looking for a Staff Product Engineer to join their engineering team and play a key role in shaping and developing the product.

This isn’t just another software engineering role. You’ll be working on products used in real-world healthcare environments, with the opportunity to take genuine ownership, solve complex technical challenges and have a tangible impact on the way the platform evolves.

• 7+ years’ experience in full-stack software development (backend leaning)
• Strong PHP experience
• Extensive experience with Symfony & Doctrine
• Experience building complex enterprise applications
• Strong understanding of DDD & CQRS
• Experience tackling scalability, performance and other challenging technical requirements
• Strong approach to automated testing and secure development
• A collaborative engineer who enjoys taking ownership
