Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering required.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Advanced knowledge of electrical components, manufacturing methods, and failure modes.
• Ability to interpret, analyse, and evaluate electrical designs and system interactions.
• Working knowledge of the electrical design and development process.
• Proficiency in engineering documentation, data analysis, quality management systems, and change control processes.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical components and subsystems for medical devices.
• Develop and execute advanced electrical test methods, prototyping and verification strategies.
• Translate user needs into design inputs, specifications and technical solutions.
• Investigate and resolve complex electrical design issues with engineering judgement.
• Conduct research and design studies to support new product development and enhancements.
• Generate and execute verification plans and protocols to validate solutions.
• Create and maintain engineering documentation including schematics, BOMs, design descriptions, and work instructions.
• Mentor colleagues on engineering practices and design control processes.
