Job summary

Humanoid in London is seeking a Staff Electrical Design Engineer to design and develop electrical systems for advanced humanoid robots. You will work across sensor integration, embedded firmware, PCB design, and power systems to enable sensing, computing, and operation in complex environments.

The role involves hands-on lab work, collaboration with mechanical and software teams, and the development of reliable, high-performance electrical solutions using Altium and HDL languages.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
• Experience with high-speed data technologies (PCIe, MIPI, Ethernet).
• Sensor integration in embedded systems.
• Proficiency with PCB design tools for schematic capture and layout (Altium).
• Embedded programming in C, HDL, and related languages for microcontrollers, DSPs, FPGAs.

Responsibilities

• Design Electrical Systems for robotics power, control, sensors, compute architecture and power.
• Conduct circuit analysis, failure analysis, and debugging of complex systems.
• PCB design and schematic capture; deliver layouts meeting reliability standards.
• Develop embedded firmware in C and HDL; program microcontrollers, DSPs, FPGAs.
• Hands-on lab work with oscilloscopes, DMMs, power supplies, and spectrum analyzers.
• Collaborate with mechanical, software, and other teams to integrate systems.
