Qualifications

• Previous experience as Chef or in a similar hotel kitchen role.
• Good knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and safety standards.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail in presentation and taste.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Food hygiene certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Food Preparation & Cooking: prepare ingredients, cook dishes to quality, follow recipes, monitor temps and safety.
• Event & Banquet Service Support: assist in setups for banquets, conferences and weddings, adapt to last-minute changes.
• Quality Control & Hygiene: ensure items meet hygiene regs, check ingredients, keep workstation clean and sanitized.
• Inventory & Stock Management: assist receiving deliveries, track stock usage and report discrepancies, rotate stock (FIFO).
• Kitchen Maintenance & Safety: keep stations organized, ensure equipment safety, follow health guidelines and support sustainability.
